I bought him something he wanted and he did the same. As far as multiple presents, we are merging our Christmas funds and finishing up our brand-new kitchen! 'Tis the best Christmas ever!

We set a $50 limit....which is really low when compared to what we would normally spend. I don't think we would ever exchange nothing because we always can set aside spending money on other things so that we're at least able to spend $50 on each other for the Holidays.

we're not exchanging gifts this year...he gets the ultimate present in about 5 months and that's where alot of our cash is going.
...we're not really that big on gifts anyway so it might not bother us like it may other people

We're not exchanging gifts either. It's way too close to the wedding and we need every penny we can get. We just had my shower a few weeks ago, so we just got a lot of new things and we still have gift cards from that, so we figured that if we feel the need for a present, we'll just go cash something in.

We're not, but we're not big gift people either, like someone mentioned above. I love buying for others, but for each other....it's like, eh, we both have more important things to put our money towards right now and would rather do that. Whatever both of us 'want', can wait.

We tried this rule two years in a row and it didn't work! So this year we are gifting each other something useful for our new apt. We bought a new LCD TV.

we werent going to but i knew FH had got me something and he has had a rough year so i got him all the things he wanted ( except for the HD dvd player) i wanna see him happy this year he hasnt been very happy the past 6 months between losing his job, starting a new one and the the problems with his mom. Next year we probobly wont..........

We had planned on not exchanging, to save money for wedding things. That lasted about two weeks! We then decided to set a $30 limit, which should allow us to exchange a little something.
Plus I did not feel very much in the holiday spirit this year!?!?!? Anyone else???

We usually give each other 1 gift for Hanukah and a few for Christmas. This year we're only doing one small thing for Hanukah and one for Christmas.
