We plan on getting ours this weekend, but it just seems like a lot of $$ to spend on something we will use for all of 5 min. We already decided not to get a guest book since most people don't even sign them. Would it look bad if we just used what the RH gives us?

we have flutes FHs mom gave us the day after we were engaged so we will use those. i think we r gonna use the RHs cake set. personally for me our own is not necessary.

I just registered at Macy's at Roosevelt Field this past Sunday and they were there. According to my registry website, they are 'limited quantities' and will be discontinued soon.

we got awesomely beautiful flutes from our MOH's. but we're going to use the RH's utensils for the cake cutting.

i knew i saw them...well last year so many girls were searching all over for them...there was a problem since they look just like the swarovski flutes, i think they were asked to pull them out of the stores and the only way to find them were on e-bay...i guess they worked something out though because i thought i saw it online at one of the stores im registered at, when i was updating registry

We didn't...we just used the reception hall's. I think that is something no guest notices.

Are you guys sure you saw the Jubilee crystal ones or did you see the Jubilee pearl set? I really want the crystal ones but they are $100 on ebay and I dont really want to spend so much money on them. If they have them in stores again I will be so excited!

My aunt and uncle bought us our flutes as our engagement gift... these beautiful crystal cinderella and prince charming flutes! I am in love with them, lol. I would love to get matching cake cutting set to match it, so we'll see...

i think we're just gonna end up using the RH's cake set, but buy flutes. FH is so picky though! I told him we should use the ones on our registry, and he said they're too plain for a wedding. Since when does he notice details like that! We had went xmas shopping at the Tanger outlets, and at the Lenox store, I suggested getting the Jubilee flutes, I realy like them, and he said no. Why oh why is so picky??

Your not suppose to buy it for yourself silly girl!! Put it on your registry! You may only use it for a few minutes that night but if you plan to toast on your anniversary years from now it's nice to use them on that day.
I didnt do a cake cutting but we were given them as a gift as well. Even though I didnt use them, I keep them for when we have company & Im serving desserts!
