Anyone not getting ready IN their home?

Anyone not getting ready IN their home?

My parents' house (where I live now) is a disaster area! There is no way my mother will get it all straightened up. And even if she did, it's pretty small and the AC is not central, so with a wedding in August, we'd all be dying! My FSIL offered us her home but its too far East; I'd rather be closer to the church. Is anyone else not getting ready in their own homes? I am thinking of renting a hotel room/suite near where my church is? I'm not sure what to do.

Well, i haven't lived at home for a few years now so I won't be getting ready at my parents house. Our apt is too small so we're getting ready at the hotel that we're having all of your guests stay the night of the wedding.

I am getting married at the RH, so i will be getting dressed there after going to the salon for hair & make-up.
Rent a hotel room if that is easier for you.

We got ready at a family friend's house. They had central AC and had a lot more room than our place.

yep, we're doing the hotel room too. I wish we could do one of my parents houses but it's just too far away and we won't have that much time.

My mom doesn't want me to get ready at home b/c she doesn't want to have to worry about straightening up! LOL...so, I thought about a hotel room for the night before, but I'm going to the salon to get my hair done and it's too far away from the RH, so that wouldn't work.

Hopefully there isn't a wedding before mine at the Harbor Club (anyone in the afternoon 10/12/08?) and then I'll probably just get dressed there.

ARE ANY OF YOU GETTING READY AT THE RIVIERA RH?

I was planning on getting ready at the hotel, but if it's typical for girls to get ready at the hall, I may do that.

My mom's bathroom is too small and I have out of town bridesmaids so I figured we'd get ready at the hotel.
