what are you going to do about this... What i mean is Im sure the RH isnat going to give money back so i was tihnking of asking for some upgrades.... has anyone tried this? and what did you get? TIA!! i have a meeting with my BM to finalize the menu today so i need some help with this before i go.....

I haven't had to deal with this yet but from what I have heard many places will throw in upgrades to compensate for the empty seats since you are paying anyways. Just explain the situation to them when you go and see what they do. Good luck!

Surprisingly, I may not. We might be a few people short. I'll see if the hall will throw in any more upgrades, and if not, I'm sure some of the lovely ladies here wouldn't mind filling a seat or two

I am currently about 20 people short...and will probably end up being around 15 people short...FH and I did not expect this at all So, we are going to ask the RH if the vendor meals could be included and also going to see what they could do for us upgrade wise. It is just so friggin frusterating.

i was 12 ppl short and my BM threw in a choc fountain and ice cream sundae bar to make up for the difference.

yes and its something i am stressing over. i am finding a lot more nos and a lot more people coming alone... i need to make 125 and so far i am at 100, my rsvp date is may 8th, and for sure i can only count on a handful to come.. i hope if i fall short the RH can add in extras.

I thought we would be short, but out of the woodwork FH has an inkling to invite some more people from his job and sure enough people are coming....so I think I will make it and have a couple of people above the min.

What is your minimum? I am finding that I could still add about a million to my list and I'm really stressing about going over. We have 243 on our list right now and our min is 200...

So far I'm at 100 and my minimum is 125. I'm still waiting for response from about 15 more people that we don't know if they are coming for sure. I'm hoping I can something thrown in/upgraded.

My minimum is 200. Today was our RSVP date and we have 184 yes'. We still have 20 RSVP's (people, not cards) outstanding. If I don't get them by Friday, we're going to start making phone calls.
