With all the recent pregnancies and couples TTC, which is great, and I wish them all well. It got me thinking? Are there any couples that do not have the baby bug yet or know they plan on not having children?

Re: Anyone not have the 'baby bug'
Though we are very happy for those that do, DH and I do not want children as of right now. I know that we could change our mindsone day but neither of us have the baby bug.

Nope! We want to experience life together, along, for a little while longer.... at the very least, I want a house before we even start trying.
Us too I think its important to enjoy each other as a married couple first for a while, but its just an opinion of mine, thats all.......

I definately do (I'm 35!!), DH is 40. BUT 2005 was such a life changing year, getting engaged, buying a house, moving and getting married all in 9 months. That I feel the need (as does DH) to enjoy eachother and married life first. We also didn't live together before, so this has definately been a period of adjustment for both of us! We will probably talk about it after our 1st anniversary.

Not me not yet!!! I don't begrudge the women who are TTC and are already pregnant, but it's just too soon. I'm not even at the one year mark. I love these websites b/c it's so great to go onto, but as a member on the Nest, all I hear about is 'I'm pregnant' and it's just a bit much and the board I'm a member on gets a little too much to bear. I mean what if you were trying to have a baby and couldn't and here these girls are that's all they talk about.
Such a breath of fresh air to see that there are girls out there not bitten by the baby bug yet!

Nope, we have not been hit by the baby bug yet. We are only going to be 26 in a few weeks. Our goal is to buy a house first, which on Long Island may take us a few years

No plans of having kids either. It warms my heart to see families with their little children, but its just not for us.

No baby bug here!! Kids are cute and DH will make a great father one day but it's definitely not something that would fit in with our current lifestyle since we both work 10+hours every day.

Re: Anyone not have the 'baby bug'
We have no plans for children - now or in the future. It was one of the things that made us feel so compatible.
Congrats and good luck to all the '05 couples who are going to be parents. I can't believe how many there are already!
