Anyone not have the 'baby bug'

With all the recent pregnancies and couples TTC, which is great, and I wish them all well. It got me thinking? Are there any couples that do not have the baby bug yet or know they plan on not having children?

I totally don't have the 'baby bug' - DH is still in law school and I just don't have the desire. We want to experience so many things as a couple - alone.

We don't have the baby bug; we are never really sure we even want to have kids. I have a feeling we may eventually have one, but we didn't live together before marriage so this part is new and exciting! We're not there yet and I have the 'us/travel bug'--not baby bug! But I congratulate all those who are TTC and preggo! :)

Nope. LOVE children and yes someday for sure but got to finish my doctorate and we want to fix up our house and enjoy each other and some spontaneity!!

I totally do not have the baby bug. There are so many places we want to travel, and so many things that we want to do alone, that it's not something we even think...we're not even sure that we'll ever want to have kids. Right now our dog is our baby, and that's more then enough for us.

It's good to see that I'm not the only one that feels this way!

Nope! We want to experience life together, along, for a little while longer.... at the very least, I want a house before we even start trying.

I work with little kids and have baby nephews and a niece and love them but am NOT ready for one of my own! FH and I have been together for al ong time but have never had money so we are hoping to be able to vacation, etc. for a little while first!

nope. We're enjoying being able to go out to dinner, travel and do whatever we want. Maybe in the future we'll have children - or maybe not. We're not totally decided.

I so dont have the baby bug, actually I dont know if I even want it?? Major topic in our house's latley. The whole Families want us to have it but we really dont want it. We have a age limit in play...nothing by 35, nothing @ all. I will be 31 in April so 4 years and counting to go. We'll see.

Im happy for all the moms to be, I love kids just not for me

we do but are ignoring it for the time being. We also want to experience things alone, are not ready finincially, need an addition on the house, and are just not emotionally ready. So although I think about having a baby all the time... we are not TTC

I don't really have it yet.

I know I want kids, and I love to play with babies, but not for me yet. DH is still in school, and I just started teaching. And we're not sure where we'll be settling, so once we we settle down, and we've both been working for a year or two, we'll talk about kids, but for now, it' just DH and I .

What I do have, however, is the 'I want a neice or nephew' bug. My big brother needs to get a move on

Me Me Me! Although we'll probably eventually have A baby, for now we're A-OK not having a little one around. Maybe we'll get a puppy or kitten first.

I have the 'baby bug' and I think DH does a little as well but we are planning on traveling a lot this year and will start to consider it a little more after our first anniversary. We had a wonderful two week honeymoon then we just went to Vegas for five days. We are going to visit my brother in Michigan and then plan on going away again the end of July. We also are planning a vacation for our one yr anniversary-so I have a lot of things to look forward to right now before thinking about some little ones! (although I look forward to being a mom!)

I want a baby. But DH says we don't have the space for one at this time, and we aren't expecting to move. I know he's right but why does that mean I have to put something I want so bad off for several years!

I was nervous about not having space..we are in a one bedroom apartment right now. We are looking for a 2 bedroom, however we know many people who have made it work in a small space for at least the first year...a crib is really the only space you need :) Some guys take longer to warm up to the idea of a baby, its very normal. But talk to him seriously about what you want as well. Its about you too and if you feel you are ready tell him how much it means to you. Good luck to everyone!!! And cross your fingers we land a bigger place soon :)
