Okay good, I'm not alone! And usually when we give to bride & groom they just accept it, I'm assuming they wouldn't tell us, 'Oh no I don't want it, put it in that cardbox over there!'
So I probably just never noticed it.
Okay, still need to figure out if I DIY and make something bad or buy it....nice deal from Oriental Trading!

Re: Anyone not having a cardbox?
Most weddings I've been to there has been a card box, either to put the cards in yourself or that the bride and groom end up putting them in.
I had mine custom made by a girl on Etsy, she is a total sweetheart, didn't finish until I was completely satisfied and charged me like 1/3 of what For The Modern Bride charges...

I might do a birdcage. I think they're cute and I can reuse it.
If not, then a good old money bag!

Re: Anyone not having a cardbox?
My parents bought us a dollhouse that my brother built. We're going to cut a slit in the back of it and use it as a cardbox instead. Pics are in my album.
