I made our cardbox it was actually a lot of fun to do (although I was pretty drugged up at the time lol). We're also having a birdcage, but just for fun. I like decorating things when i have the opportunity since my job is the polar opposite of crafty/artsy.

I ended up not having one nor did I have a guest sign in book... I dont think it was the end of the world... I am 100% certain I received all cards that were given. The RH offered to provide me a bird cage for my cards... I said great. I honestly dont know if it got used.. You could see if they have something... But dont think its an absolute 'must have' IMO

My mother actually does not like the look of them so I will just have a bag under her tabel and we will just hand the cards to her and my aunt. I also do not want to spend any extra money.

I'm going for this one too, but I'm thinking of getting one that is on sale. Did you get one of the 'damaged' ones that they put on sale or new? I'm curious to see the issues with the 'damaged' ones.

i am not having a cardbox. i am using the 'money sack' that my Nanny (moms mom) made when i was born. it has been used for baptism, communion, confirmation & my sweet 16 so i am definitely using it for my wedding.

i never heard of the cardbox until liw! hehe. i've never been to a wedding with a cardbox but i love the idea so i'm making it myself! (and hopefully i'll be the 1st in our group to start it!)

There's one review on their site, but I haven't found anything else. I think I may just go for the 'damaged' one. If it is really bad I won't use it, but hopefully I can just fix it. I just can't spend the money on one of the new ones now.
