I'm not - this is really not something that we're accustomed to and I really don't see that point of my parents or us for that matter blowing extra $ -- and escpecially since we're having an after party at my parents hosue the day after.
I mean after the rehearsal at church - I think we're going to go to my moms to hang out but nothing too crazy....
Just wanted to see if Im the only one.

i'm not having one either. My rehearsal at the church will be night time around 9/10pm possibly the friday night before the wedding! so after that , i'm decorating then going straight to the hotel. No need to spend more $$$.
WOW why so late, iam surprised. I am gonna ask if i can do it the week before bc i don't want to do this the night before
rehearsal is late b/c the church is usually being used right before for choir practices etc. and that is when my minister is also available. Hopefully the rehearsal can be wed or thurs before though and we'll just decorate fri night. I'll be lucky if i get any sleep!!

oh very true, fh's mom is in the choir and she always has to be there at 7pm to practice. Ask them if you can do it a few nights before

We will have an RD, but we aren't 100% with what's going on. Our church has mass at 5pm on Satudays and we would have to do it after followed by dinner at our place (which I don't want to do so late because we have to get up!) or sometime before. I do know that they have the church open for confession prior to the service so we'd have to be done even before that and I don't want to early dinner. A lot of my BP is from OOT so having it on Friday evening isn't an option.
