I think I finally found 'the dress' except it's nothing like what I visualized. I ABSOLUTELY love this dress but I LOVE it in Ivory I tried it on in white and it didin't feel like the Ivory one. I NEVER pictured myself in anything but white but the white dresses were making me look pale and sickly as opposed to the Ivory which kind of made me glow. My mother and sister loved the Ivory but I just wanted more opinions? What should I do?? Thanks!!!!!!

Curly, definitely go with the Ivory, there is NOTHING wrong w/that.
I origianlly was going to go w/Ivory, but then I realized White looked better on me. I say go with what you feel beautiful in

I love ivory, I think with your coloring it will look perfect on you. It is true that on some women, white can make you look too pale. I am so happy for you!! (and I sent you a FM)

color is all the rage these days for wedding gowns - not only will you glow in ivory, you'll be the most stylish bride too!

Hey that is great! I think you should go for it. mine is not exactlky white, but silk-white or diamond white. i think it is much more natural looking than the really bright white white white. but i also do not look good in white white. So happy you found your dress! Congratulations.

Mine is diamond white-- I definitely looked better in dresses that weren't white. I thought my Mom and FMIL would freak about not wearing 'white' but they were all for the ivory.

Go for it! When you find the dress that is the one - it doesn't matter what the color is. It is how you feel. Do you feel like a bride and od you feel beautiful? if yes, go for it.
I planned on getting white but when I found the dress that was 'the one' it was in ivory and I didn't even think twice (even my mom who was 100% into me wearing white)...didn't even ask if it came in white. Not sure if you saw my pictures but my dress looked white in most pictures and even in person. You will just have to get all your accessories to match (veil, shoes, etc.)

You should go with whatever color you like the best. My dress is not pure white either - they call it diamond white (aka candlelight white, winter white). I love that it is not purely white.

I never thought I would buy an ivory dress but when I tried on this one dress, I absolutely loved how it looked in ivory. I also tried it on in white and it looked terrible!!! So don't worry about the color, go with what you feel prettiest in!!!!

I always thought I'd want a nice bright white gown. However, white looked HORRIBLE on me! The dress I fell in LOVE with and got of course, is Light Ivory!

I agree with the rest of the girls...get the one you like better. These days I don't even think people notice if the bride isn't wearing 'white'.

Thanks ladies!!!!!!!!! I really do appreciate all your feedback. It's tough to change what you've always pictured yourself in but it does look better on my pale white skin, LOL!!!!!!!
