We invited everyone except people I work with. We haev re-orgs every year in Nov-Dec, I have no idea if I will be working with the same folks come May!!!

We are not! We are inviting the whole list (about 200) and hoping that we will come in about 160. The room holds over 200so we can do this!

I didn't either...but I did invite coworkers 2 weeks later when i found out that one I wasn't expecting to invite me to his...did

but we keep adding on people. my wedding is oct. 25th & i'm sending out two more invites tomorrow (my rsvp date is friday)! we keep forgetting people & adding them at the last minute.

We're not. Actually, FH and I just got an invite to his friends wedding - in 1 month! We were SO B-listed!!!
I was a little upset for FH, it's his friend so it's not up to me to say anything but we were absolutely going to invite this guy to ours.
It's kinda funny though, to know you're B-list!![]()
Oh well.

We did not.
One thing to consider with a B list: you usually get the yes's right away and don't get the no's until the end. We invited 246 and are having 180 - but after the first three weeks we only had 6 no's! We were panicking that everyone was coming! So, you might not know in enough time to send out your B-list. We got floods of no's in the last few days!

We're inviting everyone. Our list is about 120 people and we guaranteed 100 at the catering hall with the hope that we'll have between 100-110 coming.

We originally had both but not in the traditional sense. We made a 'B' list for people that we just weren't sure about inviting but we never really intended on sending their invites out later. They hovered on the 'B' list until we decided to move them to the 'A' or remove them completely. And actually, because we work together & both of our jobs are fairly unstable, we weren't sure what to do about our 2 bosses. We mailed all the invitations last week with the exception of those 2. We were just going to wait 2 weeks to see if one or both of us got laid off this month but then we realized that if other people mention it around them & then if they got their invitations too late with less time to respond, they would totally know they were b-listed. So I just mailed their 2 out today.
