Raspberry pink here. I think the groomsmen would try and shoot us!!!!! So we opted for silver.

We were originally going to have the guys matching, but after we switched tuxedo shops, we completely changed the tuxedos. The guys are now wearing gray and black with ascots, and the girls are wearing the deepest shade of burgundy you can find (in fact, only Jordan, Impression and Dessy make dresses in that color).

We didn't match them. The tux place did have a vest and tie that would have matched, but I didn't like the look of deep red vest and ties, so I had the guys wear silver instead. No one noticed.

My GMs and BMs will not be wearing the same color. No offense to ladies who are matching, it's just my opinion, but it really reminds me of high school proms, where everybody matches their date. My GMs vests will compliment the BMs dresses.

everybody matched their date at your high school prom? Really? That's wierd. Including my Jr. Prom, I went to three proms, and not once did my date and I match...

to the original question: I haven't decided yet, but it's definitely not necessary. Besides, unless you're renting tuxes made by the same company as your bridesmaids dresses, or your bridesmaids are wearing black or something, odds are it will be hard to find an exact match. You might get lucky, but it could also be way more headache than its worth. A classy black, silver, or white vest and tie are easier and are look just fine.

My girls are wearing euro rose and I didn't think silver or gray went with it. So our guys will be wearing black vests and ties.

My girls are wearing red and sometimes it is difficult to match reds, so we're going to have the guys wear silver vests that way they will compliment them.

My GM didnt match exactly... they wore silver vests and black jackets and the BMs were in pink.

They should compliment each other, but they don't have to match anymore.
We haven't discussed the colors for the men yet, but a friend had a really light lavender for her girls and the guys had on all black tuxes, with black shirts and white ties, and the groom had a black tux, white shirt and tie. Very 'Reservoir Dogs' on the guys but it looked awesome!

Ditto. Not a fan of matching at all. Black coordinates with everything so thats what we did.
