Anyone not having groomsmen match bridesmaids?

That is their vest/tie does not match to your BM dress. Please explain your situation. TIA

My girls are wearing mauve BM dresses...the guys are wearing a dark silver (I thin its called graphite) vest and tie with a black tux. It looks great together. I totally do not think that the gm have to match the BM.

My BM dresses are claret and we're putting the GM in silver/platinum vests b/c we didn't want to match colors, but compliment them.

We had the guys in black vests and ties, the ladies wore blue-ish silver dresses. IMO having the guys match the girls is a bit too matchy-matchy and unnecessary to show that they're all together. We tried to have everyone look as classy as possible.

My GMs and BMs will not be wearing the same color. No offense to ladies who are matching, it's just my opinion, but it really reminds me of high school proms, where everybody matches their date. My GMs vests will compliment the BMs dresses.

my girls are wearing chocolate brown dresses, the guys are having a latte color vest and tie. as long as the colors compliment eachother there is no reason everything has to match

our girls wore sage green dresses, and the guys wore like beige/champagne color vests and ties... jsut a color that looked nice with teh BMs color, but didn't match exactly....
a wedding i was in a couple years ago- we wore pink dresses, adn the guys had silver vests and ties, which was nice too

I almost had the guys in silver (girls are in cornflower). But then they had a really good match at the tux place so we decided it was fate.

My FH hasn't picked out tuxes yet but I don't think we're going to match. My BM are wearing sage and I think something silver/ gray for the guys.

We aren't matching the vests. My girls are wearing chocolate brown dresses with pink sashes and will carry pink roses. The guys will be in black tuxes but their boutenierre will be a pink rose so I guess they will match a little bit.

My girls are weraing pink and the gromsmen are weraing Silver/platnium.

i think my guys will be in black vests/ties. my girls are in champagne, which i think is a hard color to match. I went to a wedding where the girls were in champagne and the best match they had for the guys was gold. IMO, I didn't like the way it looked.

My MOH is wearing a riviera blue dress with silver shoes. FH and Best men are wearing a silver vest.

Yup! My girls dresses are Aqua and FH and I agreed we couldn't bare making the guys wear aqua vests/ties. The GM will wear platimun, the dads will wear a darker silver and FH will wear white.

my girls are in wine and the GMs are in black vests with platinum ties. i don't like when BMs and GMs match because it is too 'promish' for me

I love this idea! My BM are wearing Choc. brown as well, and I love the idea of the guys in latte! If you find any pics, please post!!!

Yep, Girls wore Sage Green and Guys wore Platinum Vests.

Nope, there not matching. The guys are wearing ivory..... it will match me and the sash on my MOH's dress. The BM's are in Lilac. FH refuses to have the guys in Lilac.
