Anyone NOT 'just know' when they found their dress?

i've been looking around for a while and i like many of the dresses i've tried on, but no particular one has knocked me off my feet. maybe i'm just not that type of person?

I am so unsure, too! I guess its only gonna get harder the more we try on. How many have you tried on so far?

I really felt that way too-- like it is not going to happen for me..

I ordered a dress, then came home cyring after I ordered it. I 'just knew' that was NOT the one..

I cancelled and looked a little more.. Then I found it.. You don;t know when it is on the hanger, but you know when it is on you.. And you know how everyone on the store acts when they see you in it..

You'll figure it out.. it may not hit you like a stroke of lightning, but it will feel like the right decision.

Oh PLEASE do not toture yourself w/ this ideal that you will 'just know that you were meant to have this dress !'
Some people are just NOT like that ! I am one of them ! I'm not romantic, I'm not mushy I'm not all about 'THIS is the dress I was meant to wear' - I wish I was !! It would have made it easier !!!

I knew I wanted my gown b/c it was the only one I put on and looked at myself in that I ACTUALLY could see myself walking down the aisle in. - It felt very 'me' ........
But as far as this little tinlgy feeling or whatever kind of line the woman in the bridal shop tries to give you........don't get upset if you don't feel that way !!
I promise you will find the PERFECT dress for you ! And you'll know it's 'the dress' b/c you'll just love the way you look and feel in it !!

I think you will know when you find the right dress. I tried dresses on in all price ranges, a variety of designers, and a variety of styles. Nothing knocked me off my feet, either. I knew I found my dress because it was a composite of all the elements I had been looking for in one dress.

For me, fit is a very important factor. It was hard for me to be impressed when the dress is huge. I think I will be knocked off my feet when I have my dress and it fits me perfectly.

It's hard, especially when you are like me and really don't have a specific thing in mind. I just keep trying them on, but there are definitely one or two that I keep thinking about. I have felt great in a couple, but I definitely didn't 'just know' about one yet! Glad to know there are others that feel that way though!

i feel like i've tried on a hundred! realistically, maybe 30?

everyone around me tells me i'll 'just know'. i'm waiting for that moment and it's not happening. i just don't think i'm that type of person. and the salons are telling me that i need to order soon.

it's good to hear that there are other brides out there who didn't get struck by that lightning bolt and actually needed to evaluate this decision.

Def not.. go with your gut..

I tried on a bunch too-- is there anything that you keep going back to, any dress that you JUST HAVE to find a pic of???

Dont worry I was the same way.l I tried one on that I liked but I wanted to keep looking. I found my self trying on so many more and in my head comparing them to the one I found originally. Thats when i knew that i loved it.

I didn't say omg this is the one. It was a combination of things both my mom and I were looking for all put together. I tried on so many I couldn't even really tell what they looked like anymore.

nah- I wasn't like 'THIS IS THE ONE'... I actually went back to the store 3 or more times, and the last time, I actually went to buy a DIFFERENT dress, and then saw the one i ended up buying, and was like, OH, let me just try on this one... and then I went home, thought about it, and ended up goign back for the 2nd one... NOW I love it! but before that I was like, it's a NICE dress, but wasn't like 'THIS IS THE ONE'... I dont' think i'm like that either.

I haven't been planning my wedding since I was 3... I was never 'into' things like that.... oh well...
I think as long as you find one that you like, and that fits you well with your features and looks good on you, and YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE in... then it will be 'YOUR ONE'
