Re: anyone NOT wear a tiara?
im not wearing a tiara. i am wearing my hair pulled back in a low bun-like deal, then gardenias on one side of the little bun. i am not a very sparkly person, plus I like the timeless look. I think that tiara's are very in now, which may not be the case in year to come. just my opinion, hope it may help.-jeanine

No tiara for me - just hairpins in my hair (which will be half up - half down) although I have to admit that seeing Jan05bride's tiara made me second guess it for a second - it's beautiful!

My thoughts exactly. Especially the timeless look, besides the fact that I don't care for tiaras. I'm not crazy about up-dos on me either. I most likely am going with my hair pulled back low, but not sure about a flower. I have my girls telling me I should, but I think I'd be happier with hairpins.

Re: anyone NOT wear a tiara?
I'll be doing hairpins or fresh flowers...have yet to decide!
I have a headpiece, not really a tiara but more like a headband...very thin, and understated. I was also gonna do hair swirls like that one pic you have.
I am using hairpins, similar to your second picture. I'm going to have curls in the back, with four hairpins spaced out up front, where a tiara would be, and two hairpins in my curls.

I had a trial with my tiara but decided to user a very simple headband instead.

I was going to use flowers or haripins, but i am werign my hari mostly down & takign my veil off, so i wanted soemthing notiecable in it, so I am probably goign withthis headband.
If you wear a veil, won't the hairpins be covered?

Didn't you say that the green stones came in different colors? I really like the green, which are you going with (if you are?)

Totally *not* a tiara person...haven't decided on the look I'm going for but something antique-y. Either hairpins or a clip.

No tiara. I will either do hairpins, fresh flowers, or maybe a headband. Obviously, I have no idea!!! But, I am not tiara kind of girl.
Tourist, Where did you find that headband? I love it!!!
