anyone not wearing a blusher or veil over their face?

I wasn't planning on wearing one. Will it look stupid? We're not getting married in a church, if that matters.

help, i don't want to look like I forgot something.

I don't think I am wearing one...I have heard of many ladies who don't. It's really up to you if you want to do the traditional father/significant other lifting up the veil.

I am not wearing one. I think it looks old fashioned - but that's just me.

yeah, I feel like it's old fashion and not to be morbid but it remindes me of how they drape that thin peice of tulle over someones casket at the viewing. I think that's the main reason why I don't want to do it.

I wore a veil without a blusher. I think it's pretty common now to do that & it won't look strange.

i wore a veil but i didn't put it over my face...i think everyone is different. Me personally? I wanted to see my hubby standing at the end of that aisle clear as day - and i wanted him to see me too :) Besides, when i walked with it over my face it kept sticking to my eyelashes lol. anyways, no it's not wierd. just a personal choice! here's a pic..

ps: the photographer did have me put it over my face for some effects in pictures...i was glad i had it for that :)

i haven't officially decided yet, but i'm leaning towards no. i've seen brides do both, so it's really your personal preference. plus, since it's just my mom walking me down the aisle (my dad passed away), i asked if she wanted to lift it over my head and she said no. it would be too emotional for her. and that's fine with me!

I am not wearing a veil at all....I never wanted one and I don't think it will look like I forgot something..I just don't want it... you will look fine..and if you were getting married in a church (we are not) I dont think it would matter either.... do what you want... not what you think you have to do!!!
