Have my hair fascinator that I love, think I've found earrings but I'm not falling in love with any necklaces and I'm starting to wonder if I should wear one. In the pic of my dress the model is only wearing earrings so I'm wondering if I should even bother with a necklace.
Thoughts? Pics of my dress are in my album.
Thanks!

Re: Anyone not wearing a necklace?
I probably won't be because my dress has A LOT of detailing, especially in the bodice. I don't think you need one, your gown seems to also have a decent amount of detailing up top. You don't want it to take away from the dress.

I don't think I will be wearing a necklace either, just a bracelet and earrings. I don't see anything wrong with not wearing a necklace, if your dress has a lot of detailing you don't really need it.

Re: Anyone not wearing a necklace?
I'm not wearing one. The top of my dress is full of bead work and the top comes up a little high, so I would have to wear a choker for it to look ok and I think it would take away from the dress if I wore a necklace. So I'm just going with earrings and a bracelet.

Re: Anyone not wearing a necklace?
wow. a lot more people than i thought. I want my hair fascinator and and dress to take center stage. Think I'm going with simple earrings. The panel in the v-neck has a lot of sparkle to it. Think I'm just gonna nix the necklace all together. Thanks for the input!

1. I love your dress! 2. I think it is perfectly fine not to wear a necklace. I am wearing a halter so for my dress it doesn't look right. I think fir your dress because the straps are a little wider it might be the same thing. I had FH photo shop the jewelry I was thinking of on my dress (I know a little crazy but I wanted to make sure it looked good). If you want I can have him do it for you!

Re: Anyone not wearing a necklace?
I may not wear one either. wedding dresses have a lot of detail and sometimes a necklace isn't even necessary because the detail is like jewelry all over the body or bodice of the dress!

LOL that's awesome that you did that. I think I'm gonna say no to the necklace. I just don't think it's necessary. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy for thinking so. And thanks for loving my dress, I love it too! Love Bonny.

Re: Anyone not wearing a necklace?
My ENTIRE dress is handbeaded, from neckline to hem. So I'm 99% sure I am not wearing a necklace. It's totally fine not to wear one.
nope not me either! I never wanted to weear a necklace and then when I got my gown and it had a lot of beading on top that just confirmed it

Re: Anyone not wearing a necklace?
After talking to Thomas Knoell he told me that with the type of dress I am thinking about it is perfectly acceptable NOT to wear a necklace... and I would think as a jewlery designer he would know what he is talking about!!!! So I would say if your dress has a lot going on up top... or is a mermaid/trumpet style with a sweetheart top like one of the ones I am in love with then you definitely don't have to!!!
