Anyone on here experience multiple births while on Clomid?

I Know 2 people who were on it and both had twins. It is so weird seeing this because I was beginning to wonder if there was a connection. One miscarried and then started taking Clomid. The other one was on it last year and gave birth to twins in Fabruary, but I know she herself was a twin so maybe it had something to do with it, maybe not.

please excuse the dumb question but what is Clomid? is it a fertility drug, or a drug that makes you ovulate? I keep seeing it mentioned on this board. does a doctor need to prescribe it?

Yes, it's a fertility drug that makes you ovulate. You do need a perscription for it though.

Twins run in DH family...

If the twins are indentical, I've heard that's in the genes...

If they're paternal, that's the clomid

I'm no Dr., so I could be wrong
