lol - i'm still recovering from times square last night.
and then i helped my mom move in some stuff to the new house. what were my parents thinking going from a ranch to a two story?

Last night was really good, we went to a friends party and all I did was walk around saying this exact time a year from now we will be at my reception. We got in around 9 this morning and then before I went to bed I went to party giant to buy happy new years hats and horn blowers because they are 70%off and I will be needing them next year for the wedding. Otherwise I didnt know where to get them during the year.

a nye wedding is like the coolest idea ever!! you can do the honors of hosting at your house every nye, or, you can get out of it by saying it's your anniversary and you want to be alone with dh

Thats what we figured someone will always be having a party so even if we go out to dinner and spend time alone we will always have somewhere to go after to ring in the new year. And if we dont feel like going out we dont have to make up any excuses we can just say its our anniversary. Last night I kept saying it was my pre anniversary anniversary lol

I hope you girls don't mind me butting in on your board... Im and 06er, but im SO bored and FI is off watching football and playing cards....
anyway, my aunt had a new years eve wedding and it was awesome... all these years later they are still talking about it! It gave everyone a super fun thing to dress up for and go to on new years eve!

Hi... We are having our engagement party at my parents house and I am so excited!! My family is the type to host parties at their house and I wouldn't have it any other way!!! There will be about 60 of our friends and family...should be fun!!! I still can't believe I am getting married in less than 11 months!!!!!

Thanks, I am trying to talk my Fh into gtting another but he wont. We have very different tastes, he wants a rottie and I want a yorkie or a yorkie/maltese mix. I think we will just have to wait until we buy a house so we can get both because we cannot agree on any breeds

I am so glad to hear that, at first I was so worried people would want to come because some people have parties every year or some sort of tradition but everyone and I mean everyone keeps reminding me that they will be there no matter what over the weekend , a couple who we werent going to invite said to us wether u invite us or not we will be there so I guess I better send an invite so I get the right head count in the end
