as soon as we're married i'm getting a pup and i can't wait!!! i'm still not sure what to do though...i like yorkies, i like chihuhuas and i like cockapoos...but i also like mutts and am thinking of adopting one! only thing is, we'll be in a small apartment and it's not fair to the dog if it gets to be a big one.
i think one good yorkie always deserves another! it needs a friend

that sucks about the moving are you guys almost done yet?
well, we've just been bringing over some odds and ends. I feel so bad going back to school and leaving my mom to do this since my step-dad is going to be out of commission for a while. I'm trying to get as much done as possible before I leave.
Actual moving day is monday though... so it's almost over.

How exciting that your e-party will be at your house!!! I thought I was the only one having an engagement party at a house!!! I think its so much more personal than anywhere else!!!

that's okay...at least he was there the day after we got engaged. that was the last time we saw him but he was so happy
i was thinking of doing the RD here, but my fmil wants to host it...only problem is she doesn't want to spend more than like 13 pp!!

Are you guys doing anything special to the house... we were thinking of just getting a super yummy caterer and perhaps setting up a whole bunch of casino-type games in the finished basement, so gusts would have something to do...

FI's grandfather passed away right after we got engaged... he didn't even get to come see the ring or talk to us about it... it was a sudden thing... it stinks because we always thought he would be at our wedding... when ever I would see him (before our engagement) he would ask me, since FI and I have been together for so long, 'where's your husband at?'

That does sound like so much fun!!! Since our party is tomorrow, all the guys will surely be huddled in front of the TV for the Jets game and the women will probably be giving me advice about the wedding and marriage!!!!!

for our e-party fmil got a tent (it was august, so warm enough to be outside). Ordered a bunch of food, had some music going, and everyone just kind of mingled. :)
I like ones at home - much more laid back

rays grandfather passed away like a month ago too it's just sad because he was looking forward to going to the wedding. we got really nice memorial candles and have their names and my grandmas name on it (she pass in 2001). we're setting up a table with pictures of them and us when we were younger and candles and such.
