Anyone planning a destination wedding?

We have looked in LI for ceremony and reception sites and we have always wanted to get married on the beach. We're thinking about planning a destination wedding. I think it would be nice and different.
Has anyone planned a destination wedding?
Where are you going and how do you handle all of the extras (flowers, band, photography,etc.)?
Our immediate families and closest friends have said they will go but we need it to be reasonable priced for everyone.
That is my only other worry, that it will be too expensive for people and they won't come.

I had planned on doing that but my plans were changed by my parents.
If you'e choosing a vacation destination, most resorts/hotels will have a wedding planner that can help you with all the details. Check out the hotel websites. Most will have wedding info on there. If you cjoose a site that is within the US or a US territory the marriage license part is easier.
