Re: anyone recommend wedding halls?
I think Lands End and Flowerfields are both amazing. I also really loved the Harbor Club when I was looking. The Lessings have a lot of nice options too. If you google them you will get a list of rhs.

Oh and I think the Venetian Yacht Club is very nice too, I looked there also, but I have never tried the food there. But I have heard good things.

Congratulations!!
Villa Lombardi's, Lands End or Flowerfields are really awesome places. I had my engagement party at Lands End in Sayville and I cannot say enough good things about them. The food and service were great.
Happy planning!! :)

Congrats!
I have to plug the North Ritz Club! What exactly are you looking for? That would help us suggest more! (Month you want to get married, number of guests, on the water, one wedding at a time, etc.)

There are so many great places, she is right. Those things would help. Also it would help if we had an idea of what you are looking to spend (at least a rough idea).

Re: anyone recommend wedding halls?
This might help people narrow it down, these were things I considered when decided where to look.
Water, gardens, indoor or outdoor or doesn't matter?
Traditional wedding or Contemporary?
Single wedding or multiple ok?
How many people do you plan to invite?
Price range -- under $100 pp, $100-$150 pp, $150+ pp

Re: anyone recommend wedding halls?
I am pretty flexible. We just started our search. We are looking to get married Sept-Nov 2009. I would love to be the only wedding but I am not open to 2. Our invite will probably be around 200 people. We are also looking to get married there ...indoors or outdoors depending on the month. I would get married in november and have an indoor ceremony if the hall has a beautiful indoor ceremony room.
We are going to Woodbury CC and North Ritz today. I checked out the Chateau Del Mar website and it looks beautiful so going to try and get an appointment there.
