Anyone renting an apartment!!??

Exciting news!!!! As some of you may know, I am living here in Florida with my Fiance. Well.... his job just transferred back to Long Island!! We are moving home Sept 15th!! I am so excited!

We are in desperate need of an apartment though.. Does anyone know of any that will allow a small dog?

They have quite a few complexes in levittown. You will have a hard time though because very expensive here which you may know. Most apts are in peoples houses.

hi---i've been having quite the difficult time finding apartments---so start the search RIGHT NOW!

DH and i are moving and finding a pet friendly place just for a small cat has been something awful.

all of these communities accept animals such as a cat or small dog....depending on the location.

i suggest placing an ad for 'Housing Wanted' on craigslist.......make sure you use BOTH craigslsits.... there is the long island within New York craigslist and then the longisland.craigslist

I found this helped the first time we were looking for our place in 2007. we described the kind of couple we were and that we had a cat and our landlord contacted us.

and since you need to find a place in a certain period of time--i would consider using a broker. its a little $$ with having to give 1 mos. rent--but it might be a good option for you. check out www.mlsli.com for rental properties with brokers attached.
