Re: Anyone second guess themselves?

I recently started a thread just like this! I'm not the type to second guess myself at all, but I have second guessed everything but my FH!! I got lots of replies to my thread, and many people feel the same. Don't worry, what's done is done and I'm sure we both made great decisions and that we'll have a great day!

I'm starting to second guess my gown already and I only ordered it last week!!! I absolutely love it, but I only tried on about 8 and then stopped. I'm wondering if I should've gone around to all different places and then made the choice. I did it the way I did because I wanted to be with my mom and I was only in NY for a short time.

When I started planning my wedding, I went to vendors who referred to me and I booked them immediately. If I had to do it again, maybe I would have shopped around a little more. the $$$ does add up quickly and you say to yourself is it worth it for one day... i will tell you more about how I feel after the big day and whether things went well or not!

i second guess almosts everything.
wedding planning is tough, because for the most part....it's your first time planning something like this....and it's only going to happen once....so it's a high stakes sort of thing.
but no matter what...even if some of your vendors don't work out...the important thing is that you are marrying your true love and this wedding is only one day in a lifetime...

Re: Anyone second guess themselves?

If you didn't second guess how would you know you made the one decision you'll never regret. I second guess sometimes when we argue over little things but my love for her quickly shows me that my heart is true and there is not one single person for me except the one I have already chosen. Over time you learn to know the person better than they know themselves, even if they won't admit it to you. Always ask advice if you aren't sure of something because there always is one or more ways to look at and understand something. We have been living together one month and a half longer than we have been a couple. I was on the rebound from my first GF and she was wise enough to say let's wait and see. Our friendship continued for about a year and a half before I moved in.

Best Wishes to all you second guessers ( sp? ) heheehe ( it's funny that I should have to guess on how to spell it ),

Luckily I have not second guessed anything so far. I did a good amount of research on all the vendors before booking and I am very happy about my choices.
