When we left our 20 week u/s, DH says to me in the car ...

'Hon ... I think I saw something on the screen ... '

I said ...

' yes, dear ... That was the umbilical cord!'

Felicia ... so funny! Meanwhile I had 3 u/s's. At the dr visit afterward the third, the dr was showing me the report & explaining it. I was looking at him instead of the paper which was a good thing b/c they listed the sex on the report & I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT want to know! Go figure! Don't fret ... have Frankie announce in the delivery room .... its really a special moment that way!

My stepmom and DH searched the screen but it is so hard to tell what you are looking at, especially when they are doing close ups of certain things. You can 'imagine' you see anything. but it typically is not that easy. And I was in the 3-D u/s at the time too- and still nothing.
