Anyone splitting up their bridal party at reception?

I wanted to seat my BM and their dates at one table and the groomsmen and their dates at another table. My sister, MOH, asked if I could sit her seperately from the bridal party to sit with some of her friends that I'm inviting. Would that be wierd?

We're splitting tables by GM/BMs also. If MOH wanted to sit w/a table of her friends, I wouldn't mind tho cuz there's a chance that could happen at my wedding too.

I am having 2 tables of the bridal party & their significant others.

I'm seating them wit whoever they would feel most comfortable. For example, one of the GM is FH friend from college and doesn't know the rest of the BP well, so we are sitting him at the friend from college table rather than the BP table.
