Re: Anyone start a new....

I have been going to the gym for about 2-3 months straight so far, doing weight training. I am already in pretty good shape, just trying to maintain it. It also gives me more energy which i need!!

Going to the dermatologist once a month, i am going to ask them about facials next time i go. They do facials there which i trust more than going to a spa that i dont know.

Wearing less makeup!! I used to wear a lot of foundation, but since i have been going to the Dermatologist i dont really need much coverup anymore. It makes me feel much better and more natural!

YUP!!! the next 6 months im gonna get a facial every month, infact the person i want to use said to call her this week to see what she has available so im gonna start doing that. Gonna talk to my colorist about the color i want for wedding day bc sometimes it takes 2-3x to get it to the perfect color and they cant do it that one time.

Might hire a personal trainer, all depends on whether or not FH starts going to the gym like he says hes going to, bc he said he wants someone to always go with so if he goes ill just workout with him instead of a personal trainer.

Also gonna start on getting my eyebrows the perfect shape for the wedding.

I like the idea of a facial everymonth too.... a lot of girls i know said to do that....

well my skin is acting up badly lol so i definitely need it lol and not just regular type facials but more like microdermabrasions and stuff like that...I am going to this lady bc i hear rave reviews about her and i need it, also seeing the dermatologist regularly, i have another appt this thursday, i think i have to add an additional cream or something.

I think im also gonna go for those body wraps and stuff to get nice shiny smooth skin

Id like to do the chest and back facials.... my gf who got married in April went to Bliss for those, but she dropped like 1200....

i got FH a backcial (that's what they call the back facial on the menu) at bliss for his birthday. he looooooooved it - they did microderm on his back. His back is gross so he needed it badly. But I definitely recommend them - it wasn't that much except he added the micro and i paid for it and was like !>>!>!??? but it wasn't $1200

I started going to a PT, if that counts... otherwise I want to get my hair to a normal color and get my eyebrows professionally shaped. oh and i want to be tan for my wedding so i have to figure out that too.

I started back at the gym and run on the treadmill for 30 minutes and then do toning

I will be getting facials regularly starting on Monday

Teeth will be professionally whitened when it gets closer

Got my eyebrows threaded to the perfect shape (finally) and will maintain them until the wedding

give it time catie! you will see results! trust me! right now im 116 lbs (which is alot less than i wanted to be)I haven't been this weight since high school!!!! it comes off quick especially when you eat meals every 2-3 hours! in the gym i usually do 40 min. of cardio and 30 or more of strength..the more muscle you have the more fat you'll burn!

yeah alot of these places their prices are similar to most places...i had originally looked at elizabeth arden spa and their facials cost the exact same as just about every other place i looked at, even places in queens...It was about $100-115, depending which one, some are less but thats the average

Back to the whole eyelash extension??? How does that work???

Re: Anyone start a new....

oh i didnt even think to say this since ive been doing it for a while now but i see others mentioned it...But yeah ive been tanning for months and will continue to keep my color until then.

ALSO this may sound crazy to some but i am considering it bc im afraid im going to be real hot with my dress on but ive read alot about ppl who get botox injected in their armpits so they wont sweat at all. Alot of celebrities do this before big events...IF i were to do it, it would be a one time thing and i want to find out more info about this first

i think they use a different type of glue to stick them on so this way they last 3 weeks instead of one night...its done with individual pieces

i've heard that the botox works. i would like it in my face - last time i got a facial the girl recommended retinol for my emerging laugh lines
but i don't think i'm gutsy enough to do that. i need to go to a derm though.

do you do the spray tan or regular tanning bed? I definitely have to consider this b/c unless I fly somewhere warm for my BP (which I doubt) that's my only option for being tan for the wedding.

Also, need to get back on track with:

After the New Year- tanning, whitening, etc. will be on my mind too...

i was considering whitening but then i read a thread on here that it hurt and didn't last all that long, so i think i'll stick with the whitestrips or try gosmile. I actually think the whitestrips work well...

no dont get it in your face yet, youre still young and beautiful, they say that to you and point out things that nobody notices so you can give them more money.

I use a tanning bed, its funny bc i used to be so anti-tanning w** happened to me lol, Fh influenced me and now im corrupted hahahahaaha, in my head i make sense of it saying that hey i stayed out of the sun for years so its ok for now lol.
