The night of our engagement (after he proposed) we went and had drinks and chocolate dipped strawberries at their bar that overlooks central park. It was fabulous.
I used to work across the street, so I would ALWAYS see famous people and oober wealthy people with ridiculous bentleys parked outside! I think it's like $500+ a night! I would LOVE to stay there. It's beautiful!

i knowww!!! it seems great! i know if i tell FH i even KINDA want to stay there, hell book it, but its wayy to much money ....im debating!

Is it $500 or maybe more than that. I think it might be more because this past weekend I stayed at an inn for that amount of money and the mandarin seems like it should be more expensive, its probably more than that

Yeah I figured it had to be a little bit more. The place I stayed at was very nice but the mandarin just has the little extra something.
hmmm it is your wedding night, can't think of a more special time to stay at a hotel like that. I would think about it.

Yeah, its $$. I know someone got a deal for like $550 though....so the deals are out there!
But, given that your wedding is on a holiday you might have to stay 2 nights....or it will probably be a lot more $$..

I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong for several weeks. I'm a hotel snob, and it was by far the best hotel I have EVER stayed in.
I've never been to the one in NY, but I'm sure it's very nice, too.
