If no, why not? Just tradition or something more? Even if you get ready in different places?

Re: Anyone stay home/planning to stay home
I stayed at my parent's house. Part tradition (for my Mom's sake, not mine) and part because it was something nice, to spend my last night as a single woman in my parent's house. Reminded me of the old days. And it was a nice thing too, to be there getting ready the next morning.

This is the reason I want to do to too.

Re: Anyone stay home/planning to stay home
Just to observe that last night as single people... I want to go on a date with FH (probably a movie after the RD) and then we'll go our separate ways until the wedding the next day.
Honestly I'm going to be so excited about the wedding he's probably better off by himself (he'll get more sleep - I'd be waking him up every two minutes 'we're getting married in X Hours')

Re: Anyone stay home/planning to stay home
I will see him at the RD and then I am going to the hotel that OOT guest are at. We got the bridal suite for two nights so my mom and sisters will stay with me Friday and then John will move in on Sat after the wedding.
We are not seeing each other before for tradition sake. Also I think I will be so excited that I want to have that with my family and let him have it with his.

Hmm. maybe I will get a hotel room .
We live so close to the wedding location (so convenient!) and are seeing each other before the ceremony.
I was going to stay with him in our house and have him sleep in the guest room. I have to figure this out.

Re: Anyone stay home/planning to stay home
I am going to be staying at Holiday Inn Express the night before the wedding, so I won't be seeing him until I walk down the aisle. So I want to keep tradition

Re: Anyone stay home/planning to stay home
Nope, we wanted to be traditional and not see each other until the ceremony. Besides, there was me, my mom, and a bunch of girls getting ready the next morning, it was safer for him to not be around!!

Re: Anyone stay home/planning to stay home
we got married on a friday and our rehearsal dinner was the wednesday before. we planned on not seeing each other at all on thursday to make it suspenseful on the big day, but we had to run a few errands. but we didnt spend thursday night together at all. i spent the night with my female cousins decorating my parents house...we had a blast!!! and it definitely made me more excited to see my honey!!!
