I am thinking of providing shuttle service for my guests from the church to the reception and back. I haven't gotten quotes from limos yet (that's next on the list), but on a recent thread someone recommended Golden Touch buses...I checked the website last night and they say they do weddings. we;re going to rent a coach bus for 50ppl that will drive people from brooklyn near my church at 6 - drop everyone off at CB and then pick everyone up once the party is done and make two stops, one in queens and one in brooklyn (near taxi stands)

this is going to run me around $1000

thanks girls I am not sure exactly how many people but i am figuring about 40. I just spoke to legend limo and they quoted me 190 per van per trip, 14 passenger.

I just contacted Golden Touch because the $100 seemed suspicious, and i think it was typo...i was quoted the following for 10 hours:
36 passenger mini coach: $1140 + driver's gratuity
private van (9-10 people): $995 + driver's grat

do they do it byt trips though. I don't want it all nigth i just want pick up and drop off

The person I spoke to at Golden Touch said it's a wait and go service, so they'll wait for you until you need them...I guess it's a flat rate rather than by trip

That isn't a bad price at all for 10 hours. I am going to call them.

I thought $100 seemed too low -- I am gonna say she meant 1,000.

A lot of places won't do drop off/pick-up for a party that size. It will be for a certain amount of time.

ETA: They wil go back and forth as many times as you need during that time frame but they won't just charge you to drop off and pick up -- does that make sense?

We are most likely only doing it from the RH to the hotel and have the van make trips since not everyone will want to leave at the same time.

Our hotel doesn't provide them but that was the original route we were going for. And now it looks like we will have about 70 people staying at the hotel so little shuttles weren't going to work for us anyway -- just one more expense to add to the ever growing list!

I don't know how much they charge but a few girls on this site have hired the trolley service as their wedding transportation and it always looks really cute in pictures

We have three 55 passenger buses for around $800-900 per bus. I researched and researched this like crazy to get the best price. FM me for details.

Ps - We have the buses all day too...not that we need them!
