I am trying to convince my FH, but he is being macho and stubborn about it. For those of you that are doing it, have fun.

Re: Anyone take dance lessons?
We are going to take them in January. Just to make a little dance for the first song. FH agreed (shocking ) so we are gonna do it. I am very self-concious so I figure this will be better than spinning in a circle for 3 minutes.

Re: Anyone take dance lessons?
If you email me I can give you my instructors private # so you can save a little money (instead of going through a studio).
We are learning a routine for our first dance but he teaches all sorts of dances - he regulary competes professionally.

We are also taking lessons. I can post the info when I get home. It is a private instructor.

Re: sonicstef...can you tell me where?
Hi Stef, can you forward me the information to [email protected] Thanks!!
debbie is right...don't learn for just one song...
we are taking lessons at the arthur murray studios in bayside...and FH went in with 2 left feet hating to dance...
they taught us mainly foxtrot, waltz and swing...we jsut went to a wedding this weekend and SO MANY people came up to us saying the dancing lessons paid off b/c we were the BEST dancers...and I couldn't get FH OFF the dancefloor!! amazing...he loved the lessons...
I know you are waiting for a response. I just wanted to call my instructor and ask if it was okay if I gave his number out before sending it out. Once I get his okay, I will post it or send it.

Same situation, any suggestions for a dance instructor in Nassau County?
