Anyone take engagement photos?

I'm thinking about getting them done... I'm wondering how much they cost, how long it takes to get them back, and if anyone can suggest someone good..... Thanx

Our engagment pictures are a part of our package with our photographer, we are actually taking them tonight!

I think they may run about $300 or so, but you can always go to a place and get studio shots done for much less.

Have you booked your photogrpaher yet?

Usually they are included or can be added to your package. We took our last wednesday

usualy they come with the package when you book your photographer- i would look into that-- ot you can allways just go to Sears--I think they do great pics

I definitely recommend doing them!! Ours came with our wedding photography package, but i'm sure any photographer would do them for the right price. We just got ours back... I would recommend doing them outdoors or in a nice setting, rather then w/ a plain background... here are some of ours:
