i have my first class tonight and have never taken a spin class before so i don't know what to expect

I teach SPIN!!! I love it...its a tough workout. it might take you a while to be able to make it the whole class. Oh and a warning, your butt will be sore. It gets better the more you do it! let us know how it is!!!

omg wow... you guys are right about the amazing workout and also about the butt being sore...lol
such an incredible workout, kept making the resistance higher and getting up and down....wow!!!

I used to be addicted to spin classes - took them 3 times week. I have not been able to take them since I have been recovering from an injury, but I look forward to returning.
You will love taking the classes. BTW, you can invest in a gel seat for about $20. It will help with the saddle sore.

i used to teach Spin!!! I loved teaching it, but found it boring to take.... When I used to take them before I taught - yes, my butt was hurtin for a few days!!!

I started taking spin classes about 2 months ago! I love them. The girls on these boards gave me great advice too (I had knee surgery...blah blah blah). Anyone, once you start you will become addicted. I go about 3 times a week now.
