my fh and i have been taking ballroom lessons for like 3 years now, and it really is a good experience, besides that it's a great workout if you start learning the latin ones!

we pay about 500 - 600 dollars for 6 private lessons, 3 group classes and 3 practice/party sessions (kinda like the social events)
the week you take a private lesson you can attend the group classes and practice sessions as many times as you want

i got a price from a vendor on here...i think ballroom dance? i have to check....$75 per lesson pr $70 if you buy 4 up front i think...free half hour consultation/lesson

FH and i have been taking salsa classes on occasion when he informed me this week that he really wants the first dance to be choreographed and that it was really important to him, so actually, i think it was more him convincing me to do it! Though we're dancin fools in general, so it only seems fitting =)
The place we go to is in NC so i don't think it'll help any of you...but i know Arthur Murray is really good, albeit, a bit expensive
