I'm considering doing so bc I start student teaching the week and a half after my wedding. I figure we dodge e hurricane season and go in December after I graduate n I'll have off for a while also gives time to save more money fir it! Anyone else doing this?

Getting married in May.. going on our honeymoon in July. Im a teacher so it would be hard to take off all the days. FH and I are staying at a hotel in NYC the 2 nights after out wedding, seeing a show and made some amazing dinner reservations.!

Getting married in April - HM in October. FH business gets very busy Spring and Summer PLUS with all the $$$ we are spending for this wedding, we don't have any extra for a HM right now.
We are taking a few days and going somewhere after the wedding. Haven't decided yet. Somewhere we can drive to though.

FH and I are. We're still settling on a where and when, but it will definitely be at a later date due to school/work.

us!!!! we're getting married in Sep but since I'm a teacher I won't have a week long break 'til Dec. But since we're planning to go too Italy, this month will be too cold, so we're gonna go during the break on April, I'm taking an extra week, so we can spend 2 weeks in la bella Italia

yup DH and I are both in med school and we couldnt take a HM right after the wedding so now we are going this june. i think it's fine to delay it a little although boy would it have felt nice to have a vacation after the wedding!!! i was TIRED!!!

Yeah we are thinking of this since we're not sure how we'll afford a honeymoon. We were thinking of taking a disney trip as aprt of our honeymoon but doing it in early Dec, so we might just take 2 weeks and do the whole thing in early Dec, giving us 6 extra months to save the money. It'll also give us something to look forward to.
I'd still want to do something for a few days semi-locally, a mini0moon if you willl

We're getting married in april and honeymooning in may. Just three weeks later. No real reason; the hotel wasn't available the week right after the wedding so we have to wait.

We're getting married in Sept and prob won't go away on our HM until Dec break (I'm pursuing a doctorate in psych, so I won't be able to take the time off, since they drop me from a class if I have more than 2 absences
We wanna go away for over two weeks, so I'm hoping togo during the holiday break, somewhere nice and warm and sunny, even though we live in FL
We're hoping to go to Europe....

Yes! FH whole family is coming in from Ireland so we want to spend time with them while they are here. Getting married is Sep, so I think we may wait till Nov/Dec time. Get out of the cold!

We are. We're getting married Nov 10. Both of us re teachers. We were going to go on a cruise Dec break but when we compared prices for the EXACT cruise for Dec break and Feb break. Feb break was half the price. So we're waiting to go until February. Probably going to do a mini-moon Friday-Sunday the weekend of our wedding.
