I'm considering doing so bc I start student teaching the week and a half after my wedding. I figure we dodge e hurricane season and go in December after I graduate n I'll have off for a while also gives time to save more money fir it! Anyone else doing this?

Yes... because I will be in grad school and can't take it right after the wedding and then come December/January is Christmas and New Years and I would want to be home and then come after New Years I don't think the weather is that ideal in Hawaii or Tahiti (whichever we choose) so we will probably wait till after I finish grad school and student teaching to take the honeymoon. Most likely it will be towards the end of May.

We are going like a month and a 1/2 after. FH is a teacher and since we are getting married so close to the end of the school year it just makes sense to wait.
He gets stressed out during the end so it will give him time to finish out the year and then have something to look forward to.
We leave on July 7th

our official HM won't be until Jan 2012 in Jamaica.
We are going to to Niagra Falls for 3 days, leaving the Monday after the wedding.
And we are also planning a trip to Europe in the summer for his cousin's wedding in Ireland. We'll be going with FSIL to possibly Spain or Italy, then to London, and then to Ireland for the wedding.

I know I feel like I'd be so stressed w the wedding and rushing back to student teach I figure after I'm graduated w the masters is just another thing to celebrate while away haha

we are getting married in august but prob not honeymooning until Feb 2012. We will do a 2-3 night minimoon though just to get away for a few days but not breaking the bank. something drivable

i'm also a teacher and getting married in October so we were originally going to do our HM over winter break in december but then realized the April break is longer and we won't have to worry about snow preventing us from flying in or out.

We are. We're getting married Nov 10. Both of us re teachers. We were going to go on a cruise Dec break but when we compared prices for the EXACT cruise for Dec break and Feb break. Feb break was half the price. So we're waiting to go until February. Probably going to do a mini-moon Friday-Sunday the weekend of our wedding.

We are. I'm a teacher so we are waiting until my summer vacation. That way we can do a full 2 weeks. It will give me something to look forward to after all the wedding excitement is over.

We are taking our official Disneymoon in October. But in July we will be going to the outerbanks with about 25 people, with kids. I know, what the h*ll we were thinking, but it's going to be so much fun.

I am for 2 reasons:
1. It's freezing in Europe this time of year.
2. I graduate Grad school in May so I couldn't just take off for a month in the middle of a semester.

I am. Im getting married in May but i am a pre-k teacher so i have to and want to be there for my students graduation, plus I really cant take that much time. Im also student teaching during the summer for my masters degree so we're going in like August
