Anyone thinking of untraditional dresses?

I keep seeing these beautiful soft grey or light gold wedding dresses on pinterest and they're really starting to make me consider a non-traditional gown...anyone else know someone who did this?

I want a non-traditional dress. We have a love for both history and the fantasy of Renaissance faires. I'm thinking of having a custom corset and flowing skirt made.

I am thinking of having a slate gray dress and black for my MOH. I do want a punch of color, possibly with a sash but I can't nail down which color - light blue, purple or pink? I wanted a color that could universally look good and I threw myself off by picking March. I always thought I would get married in November and have chocolate brown but Nov 2012 was too soon and Nov 2013 is too far so we decided on Mar. Anyway, sorry for the ramble but I do love the gray as a dress color!!

You can still do your chocolate brown color for March.

definitely do whatever color you like! it's earthy, just like the spring, so it works to choose brown. my entire color palette/scheme for our wedding is more springy than fall, but it fits our vintage concept so we're doing it anyway.

i really can't stop thinking about grey dresses! i saw one gorgeous one that's actually an alfred sung bridesmaids dress but i can't decide ahhh

I'm on offbeat bride as dragonlover :) I love it for its ideas that strike a chord with my and Fh's Hobbies. I had a blog going until the whole recent forum shift.

I love LiWeddings because its others girls from LI who know the time frame, cost, and advice for planning a NY wedding:)
