anyone throwing their garter or bouquet at the reception?

was just curious.

I always thought it was fun, but it doesn't seem to be as popular as it used to be.

Any new ideas?

def doing the garter thing.....BUt me & my FH are such characters we are trying to find things to put up my dress when he is doing the garter thing.....For example find the biggest pair of panties,a rubber chicken ahahahaha

I'm definately doing both. Our wedding is everything traditional, except those old played out songs, ymca, electic slide, etc.

I was thinking of trying to find a small ball n chain and attach it to my garter and surprise/shock my FI and everyone else.

We're not planning on doing either one. There won't be very many single people at the wedding, and I don't want them to feel like I'm putting the spotlight on their single-ness.

No...i replied on BHB that i dont really like the tradition...and...i know that one of my friends will deff be engaged by then so i would like to hand my bok over to her for goodluck with their upcoming wedding

I'm doing it and can't wait!! How I see it, its a chance for some guests to have the spotlite. Here are the songs

Not sure...I didn't want to do it originally, but I think my FH (who is usually so 'bah humbug!' about traditions) is actually into it. If we do, we totally have to have our band play 'Hot for Teacher' during it.
