Anyone use bare essentials?

I am an avid user of Bare Escentuals. I have been using it for the past 5 years when they had the first infomercial...and now it has grown so big and you can purchase it at their store in roosevelt field mall. sephora or Ulta..

I love it. Ever since I have been using it, they all think i have such perfect skin. its almost like an airbrush finish. I have not used anything else since then.

I used to wear laura Mercier make up and since then I still use her eyeshadow and stuff but love Bare Essentials...
you dont need alot of it..thats whats great about it

I got the trial kit and had a ball with it! I've gotten compliments on my skin tone, but I have oily skin and have to reapply once during the day.

If you want to try on testers before you order it... you can get it at ULTA or the Bare Essental store in Roosevelt Field, I would personally recommend the store becuase usually ULTA is out of things and the girls in the RF store know a lot more about the product becuase they are exclusivly selling it.

I had the same thing happen- just didn't love it. I tried it b/c so many people were hyping it up- Honestly, I don't get why everyone raves so much about it... I'm a MAC girl now and forever! I'll be eighty and wearing 'viva glam' hahaha!

ETA: I just read a lot of girls talking about how it covers and how it is flawless and such... Which is true, it was light-weight and all however, I use the MAC Studio Fix and I apply it with a brush- so it, in essence is the same thing, I won't use regular foundation b/c it's just too much for me.

I like the natural and weightless look so I recommend the Studio Fix to achieve that (in a powder)... I have never gotten so many compliments on my skin since I switched from old school foundation to that!

Also, I recommend MAC's bronzer- I use that too, again applied with a brush for the flawless, non-cakey look. HTH!!!

I'm a MAC girl but Bare Essentials is ok. I'm crazy about all the loose powder (I'm a clutz )
