Anyone use Cingular Cell Phone Service?

Anyone use Cingular Cell Phone Service?

We are contemplating changing to Cingular and want to know how satisfied you are with their service in the tri-state area. Do you get dropped calls much or encounter a lot of dead zones? We currently use SprintPCS.

Thanks.

Honestly, not terribly thrilled with Cingular. I signed a 2 year contract, which will be up in the Spring. I will then be switching to Verizon. My fh, several friends, and my mom all have Verizon and their reception and service has been superior compared to mine. I think my reception has gotten a little better after they merged with AT& T, but that may or may not really be the case...

Danielle and I have had Cingular for the past 2 weeks and we love it. The service even works from our basement apartment and T mobile never worked there.

We got the 850 minute family plan with roll over minutes...and we get $180 back in mail in rebates.

Dh and I just switched from T-Mobil to Cingular, we got the 'family plan' we love it. DH had never had a cell phone so it's his first. I had terrible reception with T-Mobil so I knew I wanted to change.

We've had Cingular for a month now and we haven't had any problemes (knock on wood)

I have had AT&T, who just merged with cingular and have had no problems. I've been happy with them. There are a few dead spots, but not too bad.
