I have hairlocs and love them! I have heard a lot of bad stuff about Great Lengths, a couple of my friends had major damage from them! Also the glue tends to turn white and can be seen through the hair!
Hairlocs is safer for your hair and is easier to maintain...no glue so the damage is minimal and I just had my first maintaince and it was so simple & quick! Check out my album...you can't tell that my hair is only shoulder length!
I really love them and would recommend them & the girl that does mine to anyone! (PS the hair never has to be completely removed like other systems, very little breakage, and so easy to take care of!)

I love great lengths. if you look at some of my pictures the long blonde hair I had was great lengths. I got it for my last bday from a girl I met on myspace (she did them professionally). I'll probably get them back for my wedding. they last a few months, look and feel like real hair. mine were a bit long so it was hard to handle.
