Anyone using a band?

Check out Hi Def! They are a LIW recommended band & they are playing at the LIW extravaganza in September! They are awesome & had our guests up dancing all night! They can play any style and have tons of energy AND they were a complete pleasure to work with!

I'm not using them, but the lowest quote I got was from After Hours....they have a 9 piece band!

LOL...I wish! A friend of mine is using Times Square Orchestra and they are reasonable. I want to say they were around $5500. Finding a band was so hard for FH and I. FH was very picky about the band so we ended up paying $8500 for our band. I would also check out Live Wire they were recommend to me by Cheeky and they were great. They were our second choice and I believe they were around 6.

Yes Hidef is pretty affordable, and they sound really good. I cannot remember how much they quote me but it was the lowest one I got

They gave a reallyyyy good quote! I'm nervous about a band but FH fam likes a band better than a DJ.

Have both! That is what we are most likely doing. The band would play 1 or 2 sets & the DJ would take over the rest of the night as well as the music for dinner.

There's no such thing as an affordable band when you compare their prices to that of a DJ lol. Two of my friends had bands and paid well over $6000 - but they were amazing!!! I haven't heard of anything lower. Best of luck!!

I haven't been on here in forever! But my sister just got married and she had the same band we did, Soul Revival, and I remembered how amazing they were!! I highly recommend them!

I know nothing of their cost but I saw Hi-Def play at alive after five last week and I regret having booked a dj and not them! They had an awesome sound and played all different kinds of music. If you can afford them, book them!
