I tried on a Cathedral veil this weekend and I am seriously in love with it and need to have it. Here is my question...Are you keeping it on all night? AND Are you going to get a 2 tier one for a blusher?

Re: Anyone using a Cathedral Veil?
I am going to have a cathedral veil. I think the two tier with blusher is nice and I am going to have them have the cathedral removeable so I can wear it all night even after I remove my train.

I just one a beautiful one on e-bay!! It is 2 tier with a blusher. It is on a velcro comb. I hope it is ok. I always wanted one and I won it for $15.
How long is the average cathedral? Does anyone know?

I bought a two tier veil to wear all day and night, and the cathedral will velcro under that for ceremony and pictures.

Re: Anyone using a Cathedral Veil?
I have a single tier cathedral with pearls and rhinestones scattered on it. It has a removeable blusher. (velcro)
I plan on busteling it for the reception - not sure how that will look so if need be I think I'll order the same 1 tier with the sparkels on it in elbow length to wear at recpt.

By the way Stacy, catherdrals in bridal shops are VERY expnesive, so if that is an issue, try veilshop.com or ebay or barron's in Tri County. I think barron' said $90, but paid around 65 on veilshop.com. The one in the bridal shop was Close to $300.

Bridal Shop originally quoted me $299, I got them down to $89 ple $20 for the blusher. Veils are something that I think can be negotiated easily.

Re: Anyone using a Cathedral Veil?
I'm using a puddle cathedral veil (lace on the edge). I might bustle for the reception, depending on how heavy it is.

Re: Anyone using a Cathedral Veil?
I had a chapel length which is a tad shorter than cathedral but you definitely can't leave it on all night unless you want to sling it over your shoulder.
I got my veil custom made by www.glamgal.com She did a wonderful job and charged me a fraction of the price and gave me exactly what i wanted.

Re: Anyone using a Cathedral Veil?
I had a cathedral veil too - I loved it. It was just on for the ceremony and pics outside the church. I took it off before I got into the limo to go to the reception. Kinda sad wish I couldve worn it longer but it would have become a pain after that i think to me.

Re: Anyone using a Cathedral Veil?
I have a really long one and only plan on wearing it for the ceremony.
I don't even think I am going to take pictures in it during the day
