I bought a two-tier cathedral length and was planning to take it off after our first dance, but as of late I've been thinking of buying a fingertip for the reception.

I am using the cathedral veil for the wedding ceremony. I chose not to do 2 tiers only because I don't want to wear a veil all evening.

I am going to do a cathedral veil due to the simplicity of my dress. I am going to do a fingertip legnth blusher for thechuch.
The whole thing is coming off for the reception.

Yes, I'm having a Cathedral veil as well as a 2-tiered one for a blusher. I definitely won't be wearing the cathedral one all night and am even considering removing the blusher after the ceremony/photos.

I'm having a cathedral veil and an elbow length blusher. Question: Can I use the blusher as a regular veil during the reception? Like if I put it (the blusher) on a comb and just tucked it behind my hairstyle?

I ordered a 1 tier cathedral veil....but I am taking it off for the reception. No blusher or second tier to wear all night. I am going to put either a flower or pretty clips in my hair so my hairdo doesn't look so plain.

I had a single tier cathedral veil which I wore only for the ceremony and few pics. I took it off for the reception. Bought mine on ebay.

i got a two tier cathedral with blusher, cathedral is attached by velcro, and i'll take it off after pictures. it was $81 from veilshop.com and i love it!

My friend wore a cathedral veil at the church and changed it for the reception...
I'm doing a two-tier fingertip blusher with rhinestones (double-sided) scattered throughout. I was planning to take the cathedral veil off after pictures.
I'm getting it custom made through sandradesigns.com. My cathedral veil is 136 inches . Both veils are costing me $125

I wore a cathedral length with a tear away blusher. It was bustled during the reception. Looked great.
The veil attached with comb. The blusher was attached to the comb with a narrow strip of velcro and I removed it after the ceremony.
My veil was bustled during reception. A satin covered button was sewn to the comb and a small loop sewn into my veil, from underneath the veil was pulled up and it ended up about fingertip length.
I don't have any proofs scanned but the photos from my table camera show it bustled - but they are kinda grainy.
I'm getting a cathedral length but I'm not keeping it on all night. I'm either going to have a 2 tier fingertip/cathedral or just get a second veil for the reception.
