Anyone using Ovcon 35 for BC?

My gyno told me to start it because my period will be interfearing with my honeymoon...but I dont get why he told me to switch? Is it because you can make your period come early with it?
Help i'm lost....and he is not in the office and he told me to start it tomorrow!

Well... I am on Ortho Tri Cyclin Lo right now also...which I love....but so your saying (and another bride just told me this) that I can just skip the green pills that I take when I have my period and just start a new pack instead of the green that week right? So, then, my question is...when does my period come if it is supposed to come during the green pill week???? Help!

If you skip the inactive pills (green ones) and start a new pack instead, you just don't get it that month.

This may cause spotting though, especially if yu have never done it before and you have to make sure you are DILIGENT on taking the pills at the same time everyday because in my experience if I was even a few hours late my period started .

My advice is for anyone getting married like April or beyond switch to Seasonal (the first 3 months there is some spotting which is why I say after April because if you start now you are golden). Its the best birth control in my opinion, you only get your period like 4 times a year so there is no worry about it durring the honeymoon.
