I am not, but it is probably a good thing - at least one less person to tip!

do you mind if I ask... why would you tip hair and makeup people if they have their own business and you're not going to a salon? I mean... if I am paying $150 for hair and $125 for makeup, shouldn't that be enough?

It is just a preference. To tip or not to tip. Most friends I know did tip. It is a service. Whether it goes to them to the salon to the rent to the car payment...whatever, I am sure that money the girl gets is not like winning the lottery anyway. It's a small token of appreciation. Not a ticket to retire! Geez! Why get all choked up about it. YOur spending $250. to look gorgeous and $3000 for flowers that no-one will remember. They will remember you looking gorgeous! I'm probably using the same girl if I get married here in new york. A friend who just has the natural talent. cause I need some talent on that day! I'm not hideous but a little dermablend never hurt anybody

I don't mind at all.....I tip when I am pleased with a service, and after all the money that I am spending for the wedding day, a small gesture of my appreciation is really not going to make much of a difference in the end. IMO of course
