anyone using/used potted flowers instead of stems? pics?

i think i want to use a few pots of planted flowers, clustered together for my CPs.
is anyone doing this?
Has anyone seen this done? i

need pics...i'm thinking of maybe putting them in a larger pot/container. i THINK it's a good idea, but i'm having trouble putting it together in my head.

my colors are sage and orange and some yellow.
i should ask the 07ers for pics.

me!! I'm using red cyclamen (it's a winter plant) in black urns.

It's hard to tell from the pics...but it's leaves are heart shaped!

I was at a wedding where the bride had a single planted orchid as the CPs. It was a little bit lonely--the fuller CPs pictured look a lot nicer!

I'd look at Martha Stewart's website--look at Christmas centerpieces.

I wasn't exactly sure what kind of 'vase' I wanted to put my CPs in. My florist had a picture of flowers in a terra cotta pot and I LOVED it! So I am having the flowers I chose in a terra cotta pot. I'm debating whether I should put more than one on a long table, but I think it looks sooo great and it's sooo different!

I think you should go with potted plants!
