I was just freaking out over the amount of weigt I need to lose before wedding day ( and to get a derss) and was thinking of motivation...how about a contest of somesort...we could put in like either a set amount of money, like $20 or like a few dollars a week( I know we must all be strapped for cash) and then the winner gets the money to buy new SMALLER sized clothes? the only thing is to prove you lost the most we would need like a get together to get weighed in and then another after it ends? Just a thought, any other ideas or comments?

That's such a cute idea! I wouldn't want anyone knowing how much I currently weigh, so maybe we could write it down and put it in a 'secret' sealed envelope? I'd be in for it. I need new work clothes anyway for when I start in September.

I would be in for that. What if we get a neutral person who's not involved to weigh us all. I'm all for getting together to do it at some point. I am extremely ashamed of my weight, but hell, it may jump start me!

I would be up for this too. we did something like this at my job for a while. we had a neutral, not involved person weigh us all too and she kept it strictly confidential. I hated that someone weighed me but what could i do- i actually won some money though so it was cool. keep me posted.

I have a pretty fancy Weight Watchers scale. It measures in ounces too--like 125.2 (I wish). I'm free most evenings and weekends, but things are going to get pretty busy for me soon since the bar exam is in 2 weeks. My apartment is way messy (all the studying), but I can bring the scale with me

Hmmm, I live in Babylon, but I'm willing to take a drive out to Riverhead some Saturday after work or something - My schedule is kinda crappy these days, so I might not be the easiest to schedule with. But I'll do my best for you!!!!!!
