you add $100 to the 500 if you are using it towards a tiara or veil, well thats if its the same as the one i have so not 100% sure...also i checked and i am able to put it towards the payment of my dress

What does 'special-order' dress mean? Is that on any designer?

that is just when you order a dress and its specially made for you in your size and everything...Anyone does that, and not just for wedding dresses but anything...Its either you get special order or a custom made dress

yeah unfortunately you can't use it towards a previous purchase, i wish
here is what it says:
Present a print-out of this email to receive $400 towards a special-order bridal gown (valued at $3000 and up), plus receive a $100 gift certificate towards the purchase of an accessory (valued at $250 and up) accompanying the purchase of the gown. Purchases must be made by June 9, 2007. Gift Certificates are not valid for prior Kleinfeld purchases, sample gowns, alterations, and cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts or promotions. This gift certificate will be applied to the remaining balance after your initial deposit has been paid.

maybe you can use it towards your headpiece or veil, thats if you havent bought it yet though...Or maybe shoes or something
I would just bring it in and ask them what you can do with it, maybe they'll work with you and help you out
