because he hates me!!! i got a cat because i was jealous that jackie's cat followed her around EVERY STEP of her life... and i wanted a cat to love me like that. he hates me. i am bigger then jackie, and i cant exactly get down on the floor to play with him because of my bad leg. and when i try to do that... he runs away. he is attached to jackie's feet... even worse then her cat. so now i have 2 cats to be jealous of. one worse then the other

no. i wanted a cat so i could have a bond with it. this cat hates me... and runs away from me when it sees me. and when it comes to feeding it.. .cleaning up after it... jackie says 'it's your cat'. and she's right. but whats the point of having a cat if it hates you???? i would rather give him to someone who would love him, and he would love back in return

he's still young...they need time. maybe don't 'force' yourself upon it..i'm not saying you are but that's the best way to describe what i'm trying to say. you have to let them warm up to you....everything is on their terms! when he wants to play, he'll come to you to play, etc, etc.

i hate to see that this is the reason you'd give it back. it just doesn't seem to be a real reason. if the cat attacked and mauled your other cat, fine i understand that, but not b/c it supposedly doesn't like you but likes Jackie.

well here's the thing. i'm not looking to send him back to a shelter. thats not an option. i would rather keep him then send him back. but if i could find someone that i trust would love him... and he can be happy... then i would do that. does that make sense?

09-er crashing...

Unfortunately I can't take the kitten for many reasons...most of all that FH is severely allergic to cats, and second I just couldn't replace my baby ever again.

But I will ask around to my friends to try to find this baby a home. I'll let you know if there are any takers.

get a dog!.. they are a mans best friend yano!!! our puppy is wyayy more attached to FH than to me

makes sense. i guess i just feel so strong about this. i don't want to argue or anything but i feel an animal isn't an article of clothes or something to that extent. they shouldn't be passed around b/c you don't like the fit or returned.

i know what you mean. FH has a cat who lives with us & she follows him everywhere. when he has gone away for the weekend she will sit behind the door & cry until he gets home. i would totally take this little guy but FHs cat would beat him up. sorry but i hope you find him a good home.
